Arts Market Returns To Gloucester Township This Spring

The township is accepting applications from vendors interested in participating in the May 17 event.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township continues its revitalization of Downtown Blackwood with its second Arts Market this spring, township officials announced.

The event, which includes local art, crafts, and creative works, food trucks, and more takes place on May 17, rain or shine. It will be held in the parking lot behind Gloucester Township Library at 15 South Black Horse Pike in the Blackwood section of the township, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Mystic Ginger Hair Studio and Apothecary will host the event for the second straight year. Mystic Ginger opened at 102 South Black Horse Pike early last year, and immediately became involved in the community with the Arts Market. It’s an organic salon and herbal apothecary started by Kellie D'Ascenzo, a longtime Gloucester Township resident who is interested in bringing a more artistic look to the township.
