Bicyclist Hit By Car in Glendora

Police have not charged the driver. An investigation into the crash continues.

A 20-year-old Gloucester Township man was sent to the hospital for evaluation Wednesday night after a car hit him while he was bicycling.

A 2001 Chrysler Town and Country struck David G. Clayton, of Lakeview Apartments, at the intersection of Route 168 and Austin Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. April 25, said.

Emergency responders treated Clayton for a head injury sustained in the crash before transporting him to Cooper University Hospital.

It does not appear that drugs and alcohol were involved in the incident, police said. No charges have been filed at this time against the 53-year-old male driver from Runnemede.

The Gloucester Township Serious Crash Investigation Team is conducting an investigation.
