Black Horse Pike Basketball Teams Set For Holiday Tournaments
All the Black Horse Pike Regional boys and girls basketball teams will compete in holiday tournaments this weekend.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — All the boys and girls high school basketball teams in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District are set to compete in annual holiday tournaments this weekend. Two of them will be competing in the same event.
The Timber Creek Regional High School boys basketball team will face Highland in the Red/Blue Mixer at Williamstown High School at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27. They are two of the eight teams that will compete in a series of games between some of the top teams in South Jersey. They will both also play in the event on Saturday, Dec. 28, and Monday, Dec. 30.
On Saturday, Timber Creek will face Millville at 2:30 p.m. Highland matches up against Westampton Tech at 5:30 p.m. On Monday, Highland plays Vineland at 11:30 a.m. Timber Creek squares off against Penns Grove at 3 p.m.

Triton will be one of eight teams competing in another showcase event when they take the court at Haddon Heights for the Butch McLean Memorial Showcase event on Friday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Dec. 28. Triton plays host Haddon Heights at 7 p.m. on Friday. On Saturday, they face Gloucester Catholic at 5:15 p.m.
The Triton girls head to Burlington Township to compete in the Burlington Township Tournament on Friday and Saturday. Triton faces Florence in the first game at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27. In the second game, host Burlington Township faces Penns Grove at noon.

The winners meet in the final at noon on Saturday, Dec. 28, preceded by the consolation game at 10 a.m.
Timber Creek will compete in the James Atkinson Tournament at Rowan College of South Jersey in Glassboro. Clearview and Paulsboro will play in the first game at noon, followed by the matchup between Timber Creek and Deptford at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 27.
The winners will meet in the final at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, preceded by the consolation game at noon.
Highland heads to West Deptford to compete in this year’s West Deptford Tournament. The Tartans face host West Deptford in the first game at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 27. Vineland meets Williamstown in the second game, at noon.
The winners advance to the final at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, preceded by the consolation game at noon.
