Motorcyclist Killed In Crash In Gloucester Township: Police

One person was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle and a tractor trailer on the Black Horse Pike on Thursday.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — One person was killed after he collided with a tractor trailer while riding a motorcycle on the Black Horse Pike Thursday morning, according to Gloucester Township police.

He was riding his motorcycle in the area of Clementon Avenue just after 7:30 a.m. when he hit a lowboy tractor trailer, police said. The tractor trailer was moving equipment from a construction site at the time of the crash, police said.

The motorcycle rider was pronounced deceased on the scene, police said. The driver of the tractor trailer remained on the scene, according to police.

The Black Horse Pike was closed from Almonesson Road to Church Street for several hours as a result of the crash, police said. The investigation continues, and the identities of those involved have not been released.
