Blackwood Pumpkin Festival Set For Oct. 1 In Gloucester Township
Four stages of entertainment and 200 vendors highlight this event, which draws 10,000 people each year.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Fall is on the horizon and so is the 26th annual Blackwood Pumpkin Festival. The festival — sponsored by Mainstage Center for the Arts, Beneficial Bank, and others — is set for Sunday, Oct. 1, 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. in and around The Studio at Mainstage, 27 South Black Horse Pike in the Blackwood section of the township. Rain date is Oct. 8.
Four stages of entertainment and 200 vendors highlight this event, which draws 10,000 people each year, according to the event’s Facebook page. Activities include pumpkin painting, hayrides, amusement rides, scarecrow making, bounce houses and a pumpkin carving contest, among other events. There is also food and shopping.
