CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Camden County officials have expressed “unwavering support” for Asian Americans and the Pacific Island community in the aftermath of the fatal shooting of eight people at three massage parlors in Atlanta last week.

“No one should be made to feel unsafe or unwelcome because of their race, ethnicity, or nationality in our community,” Camden County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “The evil of racism has no place in our society and should be condemned outright. We stand in solidarity with every Asian resident in the county, state and nation to underscore our uncompromising commitment for everyone to live in a safe and welcoming neighborhood.”
