Camden County Extends Contract For Free Food Distributions
Camden County and Touch New Jersey will now offer free food distribution every Friday through the end of October.

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Camden County has extended its contract with Touch New Jersey to bring free food distribution to those in need.
Distribution will continue at various locations throughout the county on Friday through October, and officials said on Wednesday that they are looking to get the contract extended through the end of the calendar year. Distribution had been scheduled to end in August before the extension.
The schedule through the end of October can be found below. Each event is on a Friday and begins at 10:30 a.m. Walk-up and drive-up options are available unless otherwise noted, and attendees must wear masks and practice social distancing:

- Sept. 4: Wayne Bryant Community Center, 323 Charleston Avenue, Lawnside;
- Sept. 11: Antioch Baptist Church, 690-700 Ferry Avenue, Camden;
- Sept. 18: Lindenwold Memorial Park, 1000 United States Avenue, Lindenwold;
- Sept. 25: St. Joseph’s Procathedral, 2907 Federal Street, Camden;
- Oct. 2: Pennsauken Soccer Complex, 1601 Bethel Avenue, Pennsauken;
- Oct. 9: Antioch Baptist Church, 690-700 Ferry Avenue, Camden;
- Oct. 16: Parkview at Collingswood, 700 Browning Road in Collingswood. This event is walk-up only, and attendees are encouraged to bring a cart or wagon;
- Oct. 23: St. Joseph’s Procathedral, 2907 Federal Street, Camden; and
- Oct. 30: Camden County College Blackwood Campus, Lot 6.
