“After being unable to gather in person last year, this Memorial Day feels even more important, as we honor and memorialize our nation’s fallen heroes and their families,” Camden County Commissioner Melinda Kane, a Gold Star Mother and liaison to the Office of Veterans Affairs, said. “For the men and women who never returned home, Memorial Day is our opportunity to make clear that they will never be forgotten. Every service member is a hero and deserves to be recognized and celebrated as one.”
