Camden County Modifies COVID Testing Hours As Demand Drops
Camden County is altering its hours for coronavirus testing, as demand for testing decreases and demand for vaccinations increases.

CAMDEN COUNTY, NJ — Camden County is once again altering its hours for coronavirus testing, as demand for testing decreases and demand for vaccinations increase.
The rate of new coronavirus cases is below the peak it saw in the fall and winter months, and other providers have increased their testing that is available to the public, officials said on Friday.
“We will continue to offer these critical services to our residents throughout the duration of this crisis, however, in order to best utilize personnel and resources, we must constantly be reevaluating the most effective way to run these facilities,” Camden County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “With the utilization of testing sites declining, we will be scaling back operations and tailoring our response to the existing demand for services.”
