The Gloucester Township Police Department is partnering with a local animal hospital to teach Pet CPR at the event.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Gloucester Township Police Department is partnering with a local animal hospital to teach Pet CPR at the Dog Walker Watch and Bike Rodeo on Saturday, May 12, 10 a.m. to noon at the Timber Creek Dog Park.

Dog Walker Watch is a neighborhood watch program developed to teach dog owners how to be aware of their surroundings and how and when to report suspicious activity to the police.

“We will have local dog vendors on location with treats for your dog and adoptable dogs (maybe a new family member) on location,” police said. “Learn Pet CPR, meet our K-9s and handlers, get a picture with McGruff The Crime Dog and much more.”
