Wing Bowl Legend to Attend Tony Luke's Grand-Opening Bash
Bill "El Wingador" Simmons is among those slated to attend the June 9 celebration in Sicklerville.
While the Sicklerville restaurant has been open for more than eight months now, Tony Luke's has planned a grand-opening bash worth attending on Saturday, June 9.
Tony Luke Jr. has called on legendary South Jersey competitive eater Bill "El Wingador" Simmons and the Fancy Bridgade Mummers to help celebrate the Sicklerville version of the famous South Philadelphia eatery.
In place of the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, Tony Luke’s will feature a 20-foot cheesesteak-cutting ceremony to kick off the grand-opening celebration at noon.

All the while, attendees will be treated to Mummers music and performances by Grammy-winning singer and songwriter Skip Denenberg and Grammy-nominated percussionist Edgardo Cintron, of Latin pop orchestra The Cintron Band.
