Farrows Run Bridge In Gloucester Township Reopens To Public
The Farrows Run Pedestrian Bridge, which had been closed for wood replacement due to structural damage, has reopened to the public.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Farrows Run Pedestrian Bridge, which had been closed for wood replacement due to structural damage, has reopened to the public, township officials announced on Tuesday.
Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer joined Public Works Supervisor Bob Morris, and Public Works Assistant Supervisor Dom Martino to cut the ribbon on the reopening of the bridge Tuesday morning.
“The old bridge has been replaced with a new steel bridge fabricated with ipe wood decking,” Mayer said. “The bridge replacement was covered by insurance with no cost to the taxpayers.”
