Follow The Black Horse Pike Football Thanksgiving Games Here

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — There’s still one thing left to be settled: who’s the best football team in town? Thanksgiving Day is synonymous with high school football, and all three Black Horse Pike Regional teams are in action this morning.

Highland has the chance to prove it has the best football team in the district when it visits district rival Triton at 10 a.m. Earlier this season, Highland defeated district rival Timber Creek, 21-17, according to Max Preps.

Highland is 6-3 overall, and fell to Long Branch in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 4 playoffs. Triton is 2-7 overall.

Timber Creek will be home for Thanksgiving, hosting rival Winslow Township. The Chargers are 6-4 and advanced to the semifinals of the NJSIAA Central Jersey Group 3 playoffsbefore falling to Rumson-Fair Haven, 16-9. Winslow is 3-7 overall.
