Free Picnic In Gloucester Township For Eat Outside Day

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Friday, Aug. 31, is National Eat Outside Day, and Gloucester Township is celebrating with a free picnic the day before. There will be hot dogs, ice cream, games and more fun.
The Gloucester Township Police Department will hold a free picnic at its Family Resource Center, 1324 Little Gloucester Road in the Blackwood section of the township on Thursday, Aug. 30, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
National Eat Outside Day encourages eating outside as an excuse for people to go outdoors and take in some fresh air, according to timeanddate.com.
