Funeral Services Set For 3 Family Members Killed In Gloucester Township Accident

Joint viewings and funeral services will be held for Panagioti Ramoundos and his parents, who were killed in an accident Sunday night.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Funeral services for three family members who were killed in a two-car accident in Gloucester Township over the weekend are set for next week.

The viewings for 43-year-old Panagioti Ramoundos and his parents, 77-year-old Demetrios and 80-year-old Anastasia, will take place on Monday night and Tuesday morning, followed by the funeral services for all three Tuesday morning.

Viewings for all three will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday night, and 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday morning at St. Thomas Greek Orthodox Church, 615 Mercer Street in Cherry Hill. The funerals will follow at the church at 11 a.m. Interments are at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill.

Panagioti Ramoundos and his parents were on their way to the Greek Agora Festival in Cherry Hill at about 5 p.m. Sunday evening when they were involved in a head-on collision with 53-year-old Richard Mason, on Sicklerville Road.

Mason, who was also killed in the accident, lived on the same street as Panagioti in Winslow Township. Mason was on his way to work at the time of the crash. Information concerning services for Mason has not yet been posted.

His uncle Jack Kalogridis, 59 of Gloucester Township, and aunt Betty Kalogridis, 74 of Williamstown, were also in the car at the time, but survived the crash. Jack Kalogridis was Panagioti’s brother. He is also survived by one other brother, Theodore D. Ramoundos, of Burlington, according to his obituary.
