Gabreil Daveis Tavern Spring Open House This Weekend

The two-day event in Gloucester Township features family-friendly activities, and is open to all.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The annual Spring Open House at Gabreil Daveis Tavern will be held this weekend.

The Historical Society will host this Colonial Life Experience on Saturday, April 21, 9 a.m. to 5 p.,m.; and Sunday, April 22, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Open House will be held rain or shine.

During the two-day Colonial re-enactment, there will be a cannon demo at 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m. and 4p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome.

The weekend will also include tavern tours, primitive archery, Colonial crafters, period re-enactors, tomahawk throwing, campfire cooking, blacksmithing, historical weaving and children’s militia deals.
