Gloucester Cranks Up Summer Heat With July 4th Decor Contest
The winner, to be announced July 8, will be rewarded with gift cards to local businesses.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Although this year's Independence Day celebrations will be a little different than usual, Gloucester Township is keeping the spirit alive in a new way.
Residents in Gloucester during July 4th weekend this year will have the chance to win gift cards to local businesses through a fierce July 4 House Decorating Contest.
Residents hoping to participate this year are encouraged to decorate their homes with a July 4th or Americana theme and email pictures of their decor to mayor@glotwp.com no later than Friday, July 3.

Once submissions are received, the city will post a survey featuring all the submissions on its website and social media channels. Residents will then be allowed to vote for the best-decorated house of their choice through the end of the day on July 7.
The township will announce its winner on July 8 and reward the victor with gift cards to local businesses.
