Gloucester Township Instructional Tennis Group Recognized for Commitment

Gotta Play Tennis instructional tennis camp in Gloucester Township is being recognized for its commitment to the sport.
The United States Tennis Association (USTA) recognized Gotta Play Tennis with its Gotta Play Tennis instructional tennis camp in Gloucester Township is being recognized for its commitment to the sport.
The United States Tennis Association (USTA) recognized Gotta Play Tennis with its 2014 USTA Middle States New Jersey District Organization of the Year (non-commercial).

It earned the honor for “contributing to the promotion and growth of the sport of tennis in the Middle States section,” according to gottaplaytennis.net. This includes 17 sections divided into six districts.
It will be honored at an awards dinner on Sunday, April 19, 1 p.m.

“We would like to thank the many parents and children from the Gloucester Township area for all of their participation and involvement with our youth tennis program,” the group said in a post on its website. “ … We need to recognize the Gloucester Township Recreation Department for their steadfast commitment to supporting our tennis programs in their community by allowing us to utilize tennis courts at both Point Ariel Park and Gloucester Township Community Park.”
The group added that it was humbled by the award, and thanked the USTA for its support.
Its spring program for children ages 5-10 years old begins April 25. It runs every Saturday through May 30 at Gloucester Township Community Park.
Programs for ages 5-7 run from 9 a.m.-10:10 a.m., followed by ages 8-10 from 10:15 a.m.-11:25 a.m. Registration begins April 6 at the Gloucester Township Recreation Department, 80 Broadacres Drive, Clementon. Cost is $65, $110 for two people, and all equipment is provided.
The summer program will take place on Saturdays from June 27-Aug. 8.
In the summer, sessions for 5-7 year olds run from 8:45 a.m.-9:55 a.m., and from 10 a.m.-11:10 a.m. for 8-10 year olds.
Registration for the summer begins May 11 at the Gloucester Township Recreation Department.
Price and location remain the same.
