Detectives from the police department’s Juvenile and Family Services Bureau and Special Response Team were joined by members of the Camden County Prosecutor's Office of New Jersey High Tech Crimes Unit in the execution of the search warrant early Thursday morning.
“The detectives of the Juvenile and Family Services Bureau have gone through the intensive training by the New Jersey State Police to be able to join the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force,” the police department said in a statement. “Tips in reference to child pornography are received from several different agencies and social media sites which are then disseminated to the local ICAC task forces for further investigation. Identifying and prosecuting child predators is at the forefront of Gloucester Township Police Department's policing philosophy.”
