“Our thoughts and prayers are with these 12 latest victims and their families, as well as with every family that has lost a loved one to this insidious virus,” Camden County Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. said. “Thanks to an increase in our vaccination rate and the warmer weather allowing residents to gather in open, outdoor environments, we have seen the average number of new cases fall rapidly. Over the last seven days we are averaging just 76 new cases per day, compared to more than 150 this time last month. With more restrictions set to be lifted in the coming weeks, the best way to stay protected and to protect others is to get vaccinated if you haven’t already.”
