Gloucester Township Mayoral Ceremony Still On Saturday

The swearing-in ceremony for Mayor David Mayer is still scheduled for noon Saturday at Timber Creek High School.

Township police are advising motorists to use caution following this week's snowstorm and frigid temperatures.

"Although no traffic delays are expected, there will be pedestrian traffic in the area of the school," police said.

Mayer is scheduled to be sworn in by U.S. Sen. Robert Menendez during the annual reorganization of the township council.

Mayer was reelected to a second term in November by better than a 2-to-1 margin.
