Gloucester Township Rabies Clinic Set For Oct. 17

Shots will be available for dogs and cats, and all shots are free.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township will host its annual Rabies Clinic on Oct. 17, township officials announced. It will be held at the Gloucester Township Senior Building on Chews Landing Road.

Shots for dogs will be administered from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and shots for cats will be administered from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. All shots are free.

Appointments can be made through the township clerk’s office from Oct. 12-15, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day. To make an appointment, call 856-228-4000, ext. 3241 during that time.

The township also reminds residents that dogs and cats are strictly prohibited from running loose (at large), defecating on any portion of public or private property (owners must dispose of feces in a suitable and sanitary manner) and habitual/excessive barking.
