Gloucester Township Small Businesses Eligible For Rent Assistance
Small businesses in Gloucester Township are getting help from the state to pay their rent as they struggle amid the coronavirus pandemic.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Small businesses in Gloucester Township that are struggling during the coronavirus pandemic are getting help from the state to pay their rent, officials announced.
Gov. Phil Murphy announced Thursday a list of 64 towns across the state that are eligible for a brand-new program to help pay their rent. Gloucester Township is one of the 64 towns that will get help.
This is help related to the coronavirus pandemic and the resulting business shutdowns. The money will be funded by federal CARES act funding and will provide up to $10,000 per business to help pay their rent. This is not a loan and does not need to be paid back.
