GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township’s municipal building will reopen to the public next week, township officials announced Tuesday morning. It has been closed for more than a year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

“I know the past year has been difficult for all of us,” Gloucester Township Mayor David Mayer said in a statement. “Throughout the pandemic, municipal employees have been on-site conducting business with the public virtually. I’m happy to say, as of Monday, April 26th, 2021, the Municipal Hall, Department of Public Works, and the Recreation Center are open to the public.”

Court cases will continue to be heard remotely, and residents are advised to follow all health precautions to prevent the spread of the virus while inside.
