GT Lions Practice Field Gets Upgrades

When Gloucester Township Youth Football Association Lions players, coaches and parents arrived to Margaret "Marge" Martin Sports Complex at Lakeland for practice Thursday night, they were pleasantly surprised by what they saw on their training field.

They found a newly sodded practice field in the complex. They maybe even saw a newly installed sprinkler system wetting the fresh, new, plush, green grass.

The sprinklers were running as of about 4 p.m. Thursday, when township Public Works Department workers were cleaning up around the new sod on the GT Lions practice field.
