GTPD Posts Video of Rogaine Thief

No guy wants to lose his hair, but is breaking the law really the way to go about making sure it doesn't happen?

That's exactly what Gloucester Township Police say happened this past weekend.

Police have released surveillance video footage that shows a man stealing a box of Rogaine from the Blackwood Clementon Road Rite Aid last week.

The crime occurred at around 6:05 p.m. Saturday.

The video, which the police department posted to its YouTube page on Tuesday, shows the suspect grab a bottle of the hair-growth stimulant, valued at $53, and conceal it in one of his pockets. The store's alarm was triggered when the suspect left the store.

The suspect was accompanied into the store by a female, who was also captured on the surveillance video.

Police ask that anyone who can identify the shoplifting suspect or the female who accompanied him into the store call the township's anonymous crime tip line at 856-842-5560 or police dispatch at 856-228-4500, or send an email to police@gtpolice.com.
