GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — There are numerous wires, poles, signs and trees down across Gloucester Township as a tornado watch remains in effect through 6 p.m. Monday.
High winds are already wreaking havoc across the township as of 1 p.m. Monday, according to Gloucester Township police. Anyone who must leave their homes to get essentials is asked to use caution on the roads. Images of the some of the destruction can be seen below.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch Monday for most of New Jersey. The threat goes until 6 p.m. and includes the following counties: Atlantic; Burlington; Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, Salem, Somerset, Sussex, and Warren.
