Highland, Timber Creek Football Teams Victorious On Thanksgiving
Highland defeated Triton, while Timber Creek downed Winslow, according to nj.com.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Highland Regional High School football team has claimed the unofficial title of the best team in the Black Horse Pike Regional School District.
Sophomore halfback Jurius Clark rushed for 99 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Tartans over rival Triton, 37-0, on Thanksgiving morning, nj.com reports. Clark scored on runs of 4 yards and 35 yards, as Highland took a 25-0 halftime lead. Highland finished the season with a 7-3 record, while Triton fell to 2-8.
It was Highland’s second win over a district rival this season, after it defeated Timber Creek, 21-17, earlier this season. Kasim Randall-Dale, Johnny Martin and Javon Holley all had rushing touchdowns in that win, according to nj.com.

The district is made up of Highland, Timber Creek and Triton. Timber Creek and Triton didn’t play each other this season.
Timber Creek was also victorious on Thanksgiving morning, defeating Winslow, 21-20, according to nj.com. Tarheeb Still has nine receptions for 200 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Still finished with a South Jersey record 1,541 receiving yards this season. Timber Creek finished the season with a record of 7-4, while Winslow fell to 3-8.
