Latest Gloucester Twp. Election Results; Provisional Count Begins

With 150 of Camden County's 151 precincts tabulated, here are the latest results in the Gloucester Township School Board race.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — With 150 of Camden County’s 151 precincts tabulated, the three leading vote-getters in the race for three open seats on the Gloucester Township K-8 Public School District Board of Education have held on to the leads they’ve held since Election Day.

A little more than a week after Election Day, the Camden County Board of Elections was scheduled to begin counting provisional ballots on Wednesday, with vote totals continuing to be updated through Nov. 23.

As of Tuesday night, Board Member Mary Ann Johnson was still in first-place in the seven-person race with 11,319 votes, according to unofficial results posted by the Camden County Board of Elections.

Board President Mary Jo Dintino remained in second place with 10,415 votes, followed by former Board Member Ellen Reese with 10,407 votes.

Jose Fontanez was fourth with 9,621 votes, followed by former Board Member Linda Gilch with 9,059 votes. Eleanor “Patti” Senner had 7,651 votes, and Joanne Rossell had 7,289 votes.

As of Tuesday, 250,637 votes had been counted in an election that saw a turnout of 398,475 countywide. Out of that total, 250,434 were vote-by-mail ballots and 203 were machine ballots. Read more here: Here’s Why We Don’t Have Final Election Results In NJ
