Major Drainage Project To Impact Gloucester Township Traffic
Berlin-Cross Keys Road will be closed for an extended period for a major drainage improvement project, Camden County officials announced.
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Berlin-Cross Keys Road will be closed for an extended period for a major drainage improvement project beginning Monday, Camden County officials announced.
Berlin-Cross Keys Road will be closed in both directions between Kearsley Road and Erial-New Brooklyn Road from May 17 through May 27, according to officials. There will be a posted detour.
“This project will greatly improve drainage on one of the most traveled roadways in the Southern part of our county,” Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Camden County Department of Public Works, said. “The detour plan has been developed with input from officials from both Winslow and Gloucester townships. During the road closure, one lane will be maintained to provide access for emergency vehicles. Once the major improvements are completed, we will go back to the one lane detour plan which is currently in place and working successfully.”
