Man Shot While Driving On I-295 In Camden County
Police are searching for a man who shot a driver in another car on I-295 in Bellmawr Sunday afternoon.
BELLMAWR, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help after a man was shot while driving on Interstate 295 (I-295) over the weekend, according to New Jersey State Police.
The 42-year-old man told police he was approached by a dark-colored sedan as he drove north on I-295 between exits 28 and 29 in Bellmawr between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon, police said.
Someone in the sedan fired several shots into the Chevrolet Tahoe the victim was driving, police said. The man was shot in the hand, and the sedan drove off, continuing north on I-295, police said.

The man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to his hand. He was unable to provide a license plate number, police said.
