GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — At least six candidates will run for three open seats on Gloucester Township Council in this fall’s general elections. Three Democrats and three Republicans have filed to run for the open seats. Any petitions by third-party or independent candidates must be filed by the June 8 primary.

Patch asked each candidate to complete a questionnaire outlining biographical information, their platform and their stands on a handful of issues. Patch will run profiles using these responses in the months leading up to Election Day.

Profiles are presented here in the same format as the questionnaires given to the candidates. There were no further instructions, and none of the responses has been edited (beyond basic proofreading and formatting). Readers can make their own judgments on how the candidates did or didn't answer the questions.

Why are you seeking elective office?

A common denominator among GT residents is they are underserved by our present local government.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The cries for change and accountability have gone unnoticed. I plan to be present and available to GT residents, welcome their questions, investigate their concerns and have a solution available to them in a friendly timely manner

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

My strong family values, eighteen years of military service, a strong sense of accountability, empathy and work ethic in service and self.

If you are a challenger, in what way has the current board or officeholder failed the community (or district or constituency)

Complacency to voices of frustrated, disillusioned tax paying residents of GT

Describe the other issues that define your campaign platform.

Value, safety and diversity of our township

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Meticulously budgeted funds resulting in saving U.S. Army Europe HQ

Successfully assisted and organized training for fifteen hundred Battalion troops to meet training objectives and mission reediness

Retired from military duty 2014 Sergent/E-6

Bachelors Degree in Business Operations and Management - 2019

The best advice ever shared with me was:

Deeds not Words

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I humbly and proudly served my country. I know what it takes and costs to serve the people. I embrace the opportunity to prove to the residents of GT their voices will be heard in a respectful, welcoming community council. The new norm will be Results, Questions Satisfactorily Answered, Expectations will be Exceeded. Welcome to the new GT neighborhood!
