Mile Stretch of Black Horse Pike to Shut Down for Vets Parade
Police advise motorists to seek alternate routes Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to about 10:30 a.m.

Gloucester Township Police Department advises motorists planning to use Black Horse Pike through Glendora between roughly 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. Saturday to seek alternate routes.
Black Horse Pike (Route 168) will be closed from Station Avenue in the township's Glendora section to Ninth Avenue in Runnemede from roughly 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday for the "Welcome Home Veterans" Parade.
The parade is slated to get underway at 9 a.m.

Road closures will begin at approximately 8:30am.Â
Black Horse Pike (Route 168) northbound will be closed at Station Avenue in Glendora. The detour route will be Station Avenue to Clements Bridge Road to Ninth Avenue, in Runnemede, to Route 168 northbound.

Black Horse Pike southbound will be closed at Ninth Avenue in Runnemede. The detour will be Ninth Avenue to Clements Bridge Road to Station Ave, in Glendora, to Route 168 southbound.
The closures are expected to remain in effect for two hours, but could run a little longer if the parade participants have not reached the end point at Eighth Avenue in Runnemede. Â
Drivers should be cautious of pedestrians in the area, and plan an alternate route of travel to avoid delays.
Gloucester Township and Runnemede police officers will be on location assisting with traffic control and conducting enforcement along the detour routes for aggressive drivers. Â
