Motorcycle Rider Critical After Crash In Gloucester Twp.: Police

A motorcycle rider is in critical condition after an accident on the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township Monday afternoon.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — One man is in critical condition following an accident involving a motorcycle in Gloucester Township, police said.

He was riding his motorcycle north on the Black Horse Pike just before 2:30 p.m. Monday when he collided with a sedan that was turning onto the Black Horse Pike from Landing Road, according to police.

The man, who was not identified by police, was taken to Cooper University Hospital for serious injuries to his head and pelvic area, and was listed in critical but stable condition, police said.

The driver of the sedan was not injured, and remained on the scene, police said. The Black Horse Pike was closed between Brewer Avenue and Oak Avenue and for several hours during the initial stages of the investigation.
