Paint With Gloucester Township Police Aug. 1

Gloucester Township residents are invited to paint with police officers and learn how to use painting as a coping mechanism at the event.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — Gloucester Township residents are invited to paint with police officers and learn how to use painting as a coping mechanism during the police department’s “Painting With Police!” event.

It will take place on Thursday, Aug. 1, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. A local expert from New Jersey Pretty in Paint Parties will help residents create a 16x20 beach-themed painting.

The police department’s mental health professionals will also be on hand to discuss the usefulness of art as a coping tool when times get tough.

The event is free, but registration is required. Parents and children ages 10 to 15 years old are welcome to attend. Canvases, paint, brushes, and light snacks/refreshments will be provided.
