Priscilla Frederick of Sicklerville Makes High Jump Finals at U.S. Olympic Trials
But St. John's University star must improve her best by 4 inches to have a shot at London Games.
Priscilla Frederick of Sicklerville made short work of her event Thursday night, clearing her two heights on the first try to qualify for the high jump finals at the Olympic Trials in Eugene, OR.
She was one of eight women—including American record holder Chaunte Lowe—to clear 6 feet at the University of Oregon's historic Hayward Field.
Five others advanced by jumping 5-10 1/2 before a Trials record crowd of 22,602. A light rain began after the high jump.
