Royal Bank America Opens Erial Branch

The bank celebrated its grand opening Monday morning.

Royal Bank America is now open for business in Gloucester Township.

Royal celebrated the grand opening of its newest location, at 1990 New Brooklyn-Erial Road, in the township's Erial section, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Monday morning.

Royal Bank America, which is based in Narberth, PA, now has 15 locations. The Erial branch is the bank's first in New Jersey. The other 14 locations are in southeastern Pennsylvania.

The bank was founded in 1963 as Bank of King of Prussia. It later changed its name to Royal Bank of Pennsylvania, before becoming Royal Bank America in 2004.
