The mother told a 9-1-1 dispatcher that the babies were found on their stomachs, and that they were purple. A pediatrician previously told Patch it was possible they both rolled over onto their stomachs, but that the chance they died of SIDS, a condition that can cause the sudden death of sleeping infants, was “very unlikely.”
Carbon monoxide poisoning has been ruled out as a factor as well.
The obituary lists the twins as the beloved daughters of Alexandria Garnett and Daniel Rodriguez. They had four siblings. They are also survived by three grandparents, aunts, uncles and many loving family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family c/o the Funeral Home would be appreciated.
