Gardeners are required to keep the path to their plots weed-free and mulched, and to clear out their area when the season wraps up.

The community garden is located just across the street from historic Gabreil Daveis Tavern, at Floodgate Road and the newly dedicated William F. Schuck Lane (Third Avenue).

The garden also includes a common herb garden and a small raspberry patch.
