These Gloucester Twp.-Area Pumpkin Patches Are Open In 2020

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — The coronavirus pandemic has taken its toll in a lot of ways. Yes, the coronavirus pandemic has forced some local pumpkin patches to adjust hours, regulations and offerings as they head into fall.

However, there are many still out there, and they are giving Gloucester Township residents the chance to get outside and have fun after months of being cooped up inside.

It's important to remember to put on face coverings and follow social distancing protocols during these events to stop the spread of the coronavirus.

Below is a list of some of our favorite local pumpkin patches.

Name: Duffield's Farm Market
Address: 280 Chapel Heights Avenue in Sewell
Season opening/closing dates: Sept. 22 through Oct. 31
Attractions: A Friends and Family Wagon Ride is offered for up to 25 guests. It includes a hayride, a pumpkin for each guest and a tent for one hour after the hayride is finished. Cost is $350. There are also regular hayrides available for $5, and hayrides and pumpkin picking for $12. There is also a corn maze and barnyard express. Name: Mood's Farm Market
Address: 901 Bridgeton Pike in Mullica Hill
Season opening/closing dates: Sept. 19
Attractions: Hayrides for apple picking and pumpkin picking are canceled this year due to the coronavirus, but residents can still drive to the fields and pick their own. There is also a decorated walking path to pick small pumpkins. Picking hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Customers should bring their own containers and wear a mask.

Season opening/closing dates: Oct. 6-21
Attractions: The pumpkin patch will be open for picking, but there are no hayrides due to the coronavirus. They also have a mural, children's hay bale maze, and a tiny tots treasure hunt.
