The Haddon Township Summer Solstice is a music festival on Haddon Avenue (between Strawbridge & Cooper St.) that takes place from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. It features a beer garden, live music, lawn games, food trucks, strolling entertainment, giant fun slide, petting zoo and more! The Sunset Jazz Series features Christone “kingfish” Ingram at Wiggins Waterfront Park in Camden at 7 p.m. Monday night. The concert is free. What better way to enjoy a spring day than to spend time at one of Camden County's farmers markets.

The Collingswood Farmers Market runs from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday in Downtown Collingswood. It features fresh NJ produce, flowers, plants, herbs, honey, prepared goods, cheeses, meats, baked goods, music, art, and more. It runs every Saturday, rain or shine, May through Thanksgiving on Atlantic Ave (under the PATCO speedline). The Haddon Heights Farmers Market takes place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in Downtown Haddon Heights corner of Atlantic and Station Avenues. It features fresh produce, flowers, artisan bread, soaps, wine, honey and teas, craft brews, live music, and a handful of local artisans – wood cutting boards, dog collars, jewelry, vintage clothing. Don’t forget that Pirates are Landing at Adventure Aquarium in Camden from June 18 through July 9, various times. They are seeking treasure for a limited-time, fun and interactive family experience. The crew will teach you to walk and talk like a pirate as you play games, make crafts, hunt for Darkbeard’s treasure and learn about parrots. You may even walk the plank. You can Fire a Salute from the Portside Saluting Gun at Battleship New Jersey in Camden between noon and 2 p.m. Saturday. Guests touring the Battleship can pull the trigger and fire a salute from the portside saluting gun on Saturdays throughout the summer. Just make a donation of $50 to the non-profit museum and memorial when you purchase tickets at the Ticket Office.
