Township Receives Del Val Planning Commission Grant
The $50,000 grant from the commission will fund preliminary design for a streetscape plan for Blackwood West.

Gloucester Township has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission's Transportation and Community Development Initiative program.
The grant will be used to fund preliminary design of a streetscape plan for the township's Blackwood West community.
“These are challenging times for all local governments,” said DVRPC Executive Director Barry Seymour. “The TCDI program provides a mechanism for municipalities to undertake locally directed actions to improve their communities, which in turn helps build our vision for an economically strong and sustainable region.”
