The threat of rain washed out the Union Valley Elementary School yard sale last weekend but a cloudy forecast today is not expected to yield any rain.
The yard sale is scheduled to start Saturday at 8 a.m. in the sprawling parking lot of the school at 1300 Jarvis Road.
The event features:
- More than 50 sellers are already signed up! Most are selling household items, but we also have a variety of vendors selling items such as Scentsy, Thirty One, hand-crafted painted and etched glassware, homemade wreaths and crafts, hair accessories and cosmetics.
- SaveAround coupon books will be sold for just $20—with $10 of that benefiting PTO activities such as student assemblies and Spotlight Student lunches. These books contain 100s of coupons for discounts at local restaurants and entertainment venues.
- Spirit Wear will be available for sale—including some great prices on clearance items!
- A “Winner Every Time” Duck game for kids
- Soft pretzels, baked goods and cold beverages will be sold by the PTO.
