Volunteers of America Delaware Valley Partners with Hopeloft

Volunteers of America Delaware Valley (VOADV) is partnering with Hopeloft to open a new location in Bridgeton, N.J. The office – located at 60 E. Commerce Street – will be called the Tri-County Navigational Resource Center and will provide a variety of direct, essential social services for residents in need throughout the tri-county region of Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem counties.

“With this new, centralized office location in Bridgeton, we hope that residents in need of services will be able to quickly and easily obtain the personalized support and professional guidance they require,” said Amanda Leese, SVP of Safe Return/Navigator Programs for VOADV. “By strategically partnering with Hopeloft, we are ensuring that vulnerable individuals in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem communities have better access to direct, immediate services tailored to meet their specific needs.”

VOADV’s Tri-County Navigational Resource Center will operate Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Furthering VOADV’s mission to serve our communities’ most vulnerable individuals, the Tri-County Navigational Resource Center will offer two distinct programs out of this location: Safe Return and Navigator.

VOADV’s Safe Return program provides comprehensive reentry assistance, including intake, assessment and service linkage, to individuals returning to society within three years of being incarcerated and who are no longer under criminal justice supervision. Designed to function very similarly to Safe Return, VOADV’s Navigator program provides outreach, rapid response and navigation to critical services to all vulnerable populations, while also addressing factors that contribute to housing instability and homelessness.

VOADV’s Safe Return and Navigator programs both offer essential services, including:

• Case management and family reunification
• Housing assistance
• Employment services – job readiness, employment training, job placement
• Education assistance
• Legal assistance and advocacy
• Benefits assessment and reinstatement assistance
• Substance abuse and mental health linkage
• Treatment referral and linkage
• Assistance with procurement of state identification & driver’s license

“Our Safe Return and Navigator programs both provide the stability, structure and holistic supportive services needed to help individuals establish and continue to lead self-fulfilling, independent lives,” continued Leese.

The Tri-County Navigational Center is one of four VOADV Navigational Resource Center locations throughout southern and central New Jersey – additional locations include:

  • Monday – Friday, 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Camden County – 1812 Federal Street, Camden, NJ 08105
  • Monday – Friday, 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Mercer & Burlington Counties – 226 W. State Street, Trenton, NJ 08608
  • Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
• Camden County Satellite Office – Pine Hill Police Department (48 W 6th Ave, Pine Hill, NJ 08021)
  • Seven days a week, 12 p.m. – 8 p.m.
