Woman Critical After Crash On Black Horse Pike In Gloucester Twp.

Two people were injured, including one who is in critical condition, after a crash on the Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township Sunday.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ — A woman is in critical condition after a two-car crash that happened in Gloucester Township Sunday night, police said.

Both cars were headed south on the Black Horse Pike around 7 p.m. Sunday night when they collided, according to Gloucester Township police.

One of the cars had rolled over onto its side, trapping two people underneath the vehicle, police said.

The passenger in the car was flown to Cooper University Hospital for injuries to her upper and lower extremities, police said. She is in critical but stable condition.

The driver of that car was taken to Cooper for undisclosed injuries. The driver of the other car wasn’t injured, police said.

The identities of those involved in the crash were not released. The circumstances of the crash weren’t immediately clear Monday morning.

The Black Horse Pike was closed between Brewer Avenue and Oak Avenue and for several hours during the initial stages of the investigation.
