4K Remain Without Power In Haddonfield, Haddon Township Friday
A little more than 4,000 people in Haddonfield and Haddon Township were without power Friday.
As of Friday morning, there were still 2,456 Haddon Township residents without power, and another 1,935 Haddonfield residents in the dark after a series of storms struck the region for two days.
The number of outages in Haddon Township has remained consistent since the first storm struck Wednesday afternoon. Another came Wednesday night and yet another Thursday. Haddonfield was experiencing more than 4,000 outages late Thursday night, and that number had shrunk by Friday morning.
Thursday night's thunderstorm didn't bring the same type of destruction as the storms on Wednesday did. More bad weather was in the forecast for Friday.

As of Friday, the estimated restoration time was midnight Sunday. At 9 a.m. Friday, 12,696 Camden County residents remained without power. Statewide, 35,341 people were still experiencing outages. Showers and thunderstorms were expected to continue on Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
For the second straight day, PSEG opened comfort stations for those who are without power. They will be open on Friday from noon to 5 p.m. providing water and ice. Upon arrival, residents should drive up and open their trunk so PSEG employees can place water and ice in it. The employees will follow all public health guidelines and industry best practices, including wearing face coverings and gloves, PSEG said.
