With Marvel’s newest blockbuster movie set to come out this weekend, this year’s Rutgers Day will be a superpower-charged affair.

Camden Comic Con returns to Rutgers University–Camden on Saturday, April 27, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., university officials announced.

For the first time in its five-year history, the family-friendly convention will coincide with Rutgers Day, an annual springtime event for New Jersey residents to explore The State University of New Jersey. Admission to both events is free and open to the public.

The Philadelphia-based Elegance Quartet string ensemble will be back again this year to perform its popular “Screens to Strings” medley of pop-culture music at 5 p.m. in the Walter K. Gordon Theater.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Rutgers Day programming will offer additional family-friendly activities where guests can join the fun with hands-on activities, live performances, games, giveaways, and more. See the full list of Rutgers Day programs here.

The convention commences following the release of “Avengers: Endgame” the latest movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that serves a sequel to “Avengers: Infinity War” and the culmination of the first 10 years of movies based on Marvel Comics characters.
