Candlelight Shopping Kicks Off Holiday Season In Haddonfield

HADDONFIELD, NJ — Downtown Haddonfield will kick off the holiday shopping season the day after Thanksgiving.

Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. starting Friday, Nov. 27. It will run through Dec. 18, with special Candlelight Shopping additional event for last-minute shoppers on Dec. 22.

Merchants along Kings Highway and Haddonfield’s charming side streets — which include Mechanic Street, Ellis Street, Tanner Street, Haddy Lane, Kings Court, and Haddon Avenue — will also have in-store festivities and town-wide twinkling décor. Parking is free in the downtown from Thanksgiving through Christmas Day.

“Now more than ever, we invite everyone to shop local and safely enjoy our historic Downtown — making memories while shopping, dining, and embracing festive fun this upcoming holiday season,” Partnership for Haddonfield Retail Coordinator Remi Fortunato said.

Downtown Haddonfield is adhering to state guidelines by requiring visitors to wear masks indoors, not only for their safety but for the safety of others around them. Masks should also be worn outdoors when six feet of social distance cannot be practiced. Social distancing should be maintained between visitors wherever possible, and hand sanitizing protocols should be practiced.
