Beloved husband for 69 years of Barbara (Still) Ritter and father of Marcia Ritter Doiron (Bill), Thomas Kenneth Ritter (Lisa), Robert Steven Ritter (Holly), Ann Ritter Wilson (Greg).
Ken was also the proud grandfather of eight, Bill and Mike (Meghann) Doiron, Kyle and Becky Ritter (Mike Foster), Kristin Rohlfing (Duncan) and Amanda Ritter, MacLean and Emma Wilson. He was also great-grandfather to Will and Caroline Doiron, Noelle, Emma and Logan Doiron and Duncan, Jr. and Piper Rohlfing.

Ken was born on December 5th, 1923 in Philadelphia and moved to Glenside as a young child, raised there by his parents, Ralph and Helen, with his sister, Charlotte.
Barb and Ken married in 1951, residing in Haddonfield, New Jersey and then Moorestown, New Jersey for over 40 years, where they raised their four children.

Ken earned his BS in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania in 1950 after serving his country in WWII. For many years, Ken worked with specialized welding equipment and other quality control pursuits. He was the owner of a number of patents as well.
Besides his family, Ken was most proud of his military service during WWII. As a member of the Greatest Generation, he was a 1st Lieutenant, a pilot in the Army Air Corps, serving with the 467th Bomb Group based in Rackheath, England. He was the co-pilot on B-24 aircraft with a crew of 10 and flew 25 combat missions.
A private interment will be held for family with a Memorial Service for all who wish to attend in May or June.
