The Haddon Township Crew Club received a special gift this week. The team landed a $17,000 donation from the South Jersey Charitable Foundation.
The money will be used to buy a new racing shell, officials said.
The team’s combined wins at the recent regattas (Cooper Cup, Garden State and City Championships) include: four gold, seven silver and two bronze medals. The
township crew club was established 10 years ago for local high school students.
